THE (FORMERLY) UNPREPARED CITY SLICKER

Before her go bag days, Kate’s idea of “emergency planning” involved stockpiling jokes, not essentials. She figured if the apocalypse ever hit, at least she could distract everyone with her killer sense of humor—because who needs a firestarter when you’ve got a solid punchline? Her priorities might have been questionable (snacks and sarcasm over survival tools), but her heart was always in the right place.
